Rachael is a native of River Falls who played softball collegiately at UW-Stevens Point from 2017-2021 as a 4-year starter. In the years leading up to college, she played for the Minnesota Irish. Rachael also has several years of coaching experience at a variety of different levels.

Rachael was a true utility player during her softball career, with experience in every single position on the field. In high school and club ball she served primarily as a pitcher, outfielder and third basemen. In her collegiate career she was a primary outfielder all four years, with several games also played at second base.

In high school Rachael was Captain of the varsity team her Junior and Senior years. In her four years on varsity, she collected multiple All-Conference awards, as well as the Conference Slugger Award her Senior year.

During her 4 years at UW-Stevens Point, she was a part of a pivotal group that helped turned the Pointers back into a winning program. Despite her Junior year being cut short due to COVID, and battling a severe shoulder injury her entire career, Rachael finished her college career with a batting average of .319; collecting 79 hits, with 10 doubles, 1 triple, 2 homeruns, 21 walks, 41 RBIs, 48 runs scored, and 25 stolen bases. Defensively, she had a career fielding percentage of .957 with 117 putouts, and 17 assists.

Rachael began her coaching career as an assistant coach at the little league and 12U levels while still in high school. Since graduating, she has coached for both the St. Croix Surge, and Sandpipers organizations at the 16U/18U level. Rachael is excited to further share her knowledge and love for the game to help develop young players with us!
