Danielle Tschann
Softball Instructor
Danielle is a Austin, Minnesota graduate who played Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball during her career. Named All Conference four times in high school and a part of the All State team for Softball her senior year in 2012. She continued into the University of St. Thomas program under Coach Tschida from 2012-2016 where she was a 2-year starter. During summers, Danielle played for the Mankato Peppers.
During her time at St. Thomas she was apart of the D3 World Series teams in 2014 taking 3rd place and 2016 taking 7thplace. During her career she focused in on Catcher and First Base. In her Junior year she hit .395 and in her Senior Year was MIAC player of the week and hitting .350.
Danielle is able to work with both infield and outfield players with a passion in hitting. After college, Danielle went over to Benilde St. Margaret as the Assistant Head Coach and help lead back to back State Tournaments in 2017 and 2018. From there, she made the move over to Wisconsin and found the opportunity at Stillwater High School as an Assistant Coach and made a state run appearance in 2021.
I’m passionate about the overall development of a player not only working with them to be better softball player, but also a better person. There’s tremendous talent in this area and I’m excited to continue to help develop the talent here at ISA West.
