Chad was raised in Minong, Wisconsin and attended Northwood High School where he was a multi-sport athlete and a 3-year varsity starter, and two-time 1st team all-conference selection, at the catcher position.

After high school Chad continued his baseball career at Vermilion Community College and played one season for the St. Croix Ravens in the Wisconsin Independent/Upper 13 League prior to enlisting in the Army.

Throughout his career Chad has 20+ years of baseball and softball coaching experience in Georgia South Dakota, Missouri, Minnesota and Wisconsin from ages 10-18U, served as the Director of Player and Coach Development for River Falls Youth Baseball and Softball, served as President of the River Falls Youth Baseball Organization for 3+ years, and is presently an assistant coach for the River Falls High School softball program.

In 2020, Chad founded, and served as General Manager and head coach, of the Rush River RedHawks, a AAA-level youth baseball team which participated in tournaments throughout the US

Born and raised is Wisconsin, Chad is excited to be a part of developing youth baseball and softball in this part of the country with a special emphasis on conquering the mental approach to the game and the catcher position.
